In The 21st Narcissus the characters document their lives through status updates, blog posts, and selfies. In The First 7500 Days of My Life Max has documented his life through lists and notes detailing each event, thought, and personal anecdote.

- Take selfies as you complete every task and take part in every activity throughout the day - from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed.
- Make a list of all the random thoughts you have throughout the day.
- Plot your mood on a line graph, and for each shift in mood, make note of what caused it.
- Create a bar graph or pie chart showing the breakdown of the time you spend completing the main tasks of your day (eg. sleeping, eating, showering, watching TV, school etc).
